My skillset has been based on experience in various settings. I am as equally capable in a studio setting recording classical, jazz, rock, and sound as I am in a live setting mixing for large casts, and ensembles, to indoor/outdoor musical and conference venues and podcast recording and editing such as Suny SCCC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Podcast. I have a repertoire of skills to meet the needs of each project I am assigned.

Live Sound:

I have worked as the lead sound engineer of BroadwayWorld Central New York award-winning shows ‘Godspell’ and ‘Mary Poppins’.

Listen up.

My studio recordings range from recording artists such as Steinway Chancellor award-winning pianist Mark Evans, as well as through Proctors Jazz on Jay performance series working with musicians and groups such as: Cliff Brucker & New Circle, Matty Stecks & The 518, Brian Patneaude Quintet, as well as many other up and coming composers and musicians such as William Codd, and Areli Mendoza-Pannone to name only a few.

Wide Skillset

I am always strengthening my ability as a proficient mixing engineer and creator. I hone my skills through internships, and listening to guidance and feedback to continue to learn and grow. I have worked to help set up new lighting plots for theater, installing and testing new sound systems, and most recently operating cameras for the opera production of '‘Amahl and the Night Visitors”. As a student, I was frequently hired to operate audio and video for students’ portfolios and audition tapes, as well as accomplished alumni. Most recently I worked installing a state-of-the-art sound system at Bennington theater which included tasks such as cable management, soldering and terminating cables, scaffolding for speakers, system tuning, and signal path maintenance.

Writer, Producer, Interviewer

I also wrote, produced, and led tech for my podcast where I interview musicians, students, and business owners about the industry.

Podcast mission statement: I want to expand the knowledge of creators, students, and my colleagues by talking to students, faculty, and business owners about their inside tips, and lessons for a successful career.

Integrity. Dedication. Commitment. Skill. Results.
